He has told you, O mortal what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8

This is one of my guiding bible verses; it also happened to be the very first pin I received at the Youth Gathering in Houston. Others in our group received other verses, but this was the one given to me by a stranger from St. Luke in Williamsport, PA. Given to me by a brother in Christ. The Holy Spirit’s nudge and a wink.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the time given to me, and the support shown to all our group (Connor L., Leah S., Katie S., Cheryl & Annika S.). This Sunday for Sunday School I will be in the fellowship hall to share my experience and answer any questions you may have. The speakers were inspirational in sharing their challenges, adversities and where they saw God at work in their lives and in the life of their community of faiths. A couple main speakers spoke highly of Lutheran Campus Ministry and specifically thanked University Lutheran on their Twitter feeds as being significant encouragers in their faith development.  I look forward to sharing my experiences with you, and would encourage you to ask our High School Youth or Cheryl about their experiences too!

God’s peace & hope,

Pastor Jon
