The beauty of fall is all around us. Looking out my faux second floor window (it’s actually first floor,  but thanks to a sloping lot, I’m among the trees) I see an incredible array of colors, all contributing to the beauty of the scene. Birds are singing which adds a nice touch. And when they are silent, it’s replaced by the sound of raindrops falling through the trees. The beauty of God’s creation; the beauty of God’s ongoing creating.

In my devotion this morning I reflected on the reading from Ephesians 4:11-16 and how God has created each of us uniquely, and gifted us with different talents and personalities to build up the body of Christ for God’s work in the world. Complimenting and complementing one another to do things together that we could never accomplish by ourselves.
